This whole law of attraction business is what we have been teaching in witchcraft for thousands of years. But there is more to it then wishful thinking and keeping a positive outlook that the author tries to put out there. There is actually training that needs to be done in order to strengthen the will so that it has a greater ability to attract. You also need to learn how put clear messages out there and how to focus the mind so that those messages are effective. Now I am not saying these people on their own were not able to do that. Some people have a naturally strong will, some people are really good at focusing and concentrating. Others need a lot of practice and work to reprogram the way they look at the world. So I think that your average person will read this book and give up frustrated that it doesn't work or think it's full of crap. I think it's just beacuse it doesn't go far enough. There are much better books out there on the Magickal arts and how to achieve these things. The only problem is Magick can be a complicated system to learn and I feel the secret has tried to dumb it down for the masses.
