The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society Best Quality

Everyone has been talking about this book, which is usually a reason for me NOT to read it. It seems the more popular a book is, the less I like it.

That was not the case with Guernsey.

My cousin loaned me her copy around Christmas and I finally got around to reading it last week. I absolutely love anything set in the WWII era and this story was no exception. I loved the language, I loved the characters (Juliet's personality is so spunky). I was unsure how I would like the fact that the entire book is made up of a series of letters, but this book was so well put together that after a few pages I hardly noticed anymore. I will be buying my own copy this weekend...I'll definitely want to re-read this one.Get more detail about The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
