I am a simple housewife in my early 60's who has been a follower of Jesus for almost 40yrs. So, when this book was offered to me I took the chance to read it even though I heard some bad reviews. Initially, I didn't like the depictions of who God looked and sounded like or what he He was called in name. After my initial prejudices, I decided to just read. This story, in a nutshell, has softly and gently touched my heart and opened my eyes to a more loving and gentle God who loves me through all of my flaws like the main character in the book.
