I enjoyed this novel very much. I did have to put some effort in to getting past the first half of the book. It is all information that needed to be there, but goes very slow. By the last third of the book, it becomes very exciting and I couldn't wait to find out how it was going to end. I was very satisfied with the ending. Don't try and compare it to the Twilight novels. Although there is some similarities, it is a much different story.Get more detail about The Host: A Novel.
