This book, more like a novella, wasn't too bad. I have liked Stephen King's books in the past (although it's been 10+ years since I've read any) and thought this would be an interesting twist on my new piece of technology. I read mixed reviews about the story, so I kind of knew what I was getting myself into.
I think the hardest part about the book was that it was so short it could probably be considered a novella. I'm not one for short stories because they don't flesh out enough for the reader to become involved, which is true for UR. The storyline was intriguing enough for me to purchase, obviously, and King wrote well, but it just wasn't long enough to make me enjoy it as much as his traditional novel.
Without telling the story, just know that a man orders and receives a Kindle but it's pink. It has strange experimental features installed, one of which can predict the future, in a way. As with stories which predict the future, I'm sure you can guess what happens next.Get more detail about UR.
