Discount The Man from Beijing

A detective story about a massacre in a remote village in Swede. The man from Beijing is the person of interest, uncovered by the hero of the story, the female judge.

During the investigation, the story twisted into the history of the Chinese laborers in the construction of the trans-American railroad, the current development and revolutions in China, and power and ideological struggles among the Chinese elites.

Basically the description of China is more or less accurate, the story is a little dramatized, and some Chinese names are absurdly wrong -- Liu Xan is an impossible Chinese name, Liu Xian is a better solution, but overall, I enjoy reading this story.

This is an English translation from Swedish original.Get more detail about The Man from Beijing.
