Lowest Price The Last Child

This was an excellent and very suspenseful thriller about a young boy, Johnny, whose twin sister is abducted and has been missing for a year when the book opens. The novel explores how this tragic event has destroyed not only the boy's life, his mother's (who has become a drug addict and a drunk), his father (who has left them) and the life of the detective who is obsessed with the case. When another girl is abducted about a year after his sister's disappearance, Johnny's determination to find out what happened to his sister increases, and the story takes many twists and turns before a very surprising conclusion. A deeply moving psychological thriller. I can see why it won the Edgar for best mystery.Get more detail about The Last Child.
