The books starts off well, the first chapter got me interested. For the most part, the chapters started and ended in such a way as to keep me reading and intersted in what would happen next. There is a lot of action at times, that keeps the story going. Overall I enjoyed the read. However, the book does have lots of flaws. There are key plot elements that simply are not credible. That was a distraction for me at times. The characters are cardboard stereotypes, stock almost, and thus, not interesting. The description of the south (Georgia) is more like what someone who has never been there thinks it should be like, rather than a realistic portrayal how it really is. There are some really big plot holes, information details that are inaccurate, and most of the plot twists were easy to spot and anticipate, so much so that I began to doubt the characters intelligence. So often they miss things they should not miss, assume things they should not assume, and then correctly deduct things that could never be deduced in the real world based on the info available. For the most part I overlooked all those flaws as I read the book and was mostly able to enjoy it.Get more detail about Killing Floor (Jack Reacher).
