Well, now I see why so many people are anxious for Patrick Rothfuss to turn in the second book in this series. More than any book I can remember reading, what he is building here is a character. The plot and the action are deeply satisfying but the reason I keep turning the pages is to learn more about Kvothe and his story. The dedication at the beginning says, "And to my father, who taught me that if I was going to do something, I should take my time and do it right the first time." This book is story-telling done right. Mr. Rothfuss, take all the time you need with book two.Get more detail about The Name of the Wind (KingKiller Chronicles).
