Each tape deals with a specific event and person who adds to the snowball that eventually leads her to give up on her life. Clay Jensen (Hannah's crush) is one of the several people who will be receiving the cassette tapes, and who takes us along the journey of a girl's emotional trauma and ultimate choice to end her life.
